For You Alone

How can I look at the scene of the cross
and not be changed by the love in Your face?
How can I look at the nails in Your hands
and not be moved by the price that you paid?

How can my eyes see the road
that You walked,
then turn my back and just go on my way?
I see You now, oh my Lord and my God,
and I am faced with the choice that I
must make.

I choose to live for You alone,
to make Your cross my only glory and Your grace my only hope;
to yield my will and to make my heart Your throne!
I choose to live this life You give for You alone!

How can I look at the grave where they laid You
and not shed tears for my Lord and my friend?
How can I stand with the ones that you loved
and have courage to hope it's not the end?

But now the sky is ablaze with new light!
The stone's rolled back and the dawn's broken through!
You're with me now, Oh, my Lord and my God,
and I will lift up my life, my all to You!

I choose to live for You alone,
to make Your cross my only glory
and Your grace my only hope,
to yield my will and to make
my heart Your throne!

I choose to live this life You give
for You alone!
I choose to live for you alone,
to make Your cross my only glory and
Your grace my only hope;
to yield my will, I choose to make my heart Your throne!

I choose to live this life You give for You alone.

A Pure Heart

A pure heart, that's what I long for.
A heart that follows hard after Thee;
A pure heart, that's what I long for.
A heart that follows hard after Thee.

VERSE:
A heart that hides Your Word
So that sin will not come in.
A heart that's undivided
But one You rule and reign;
A heart that beats compassion,
That pleases You, my Lord.
A sweet aroma of worship
That rises to Your throne.

Ride the Morning Winds

A fright’ning place, this world of ours
The frantic pace of changing pow’rs
Where no one plays familiar roles
But in these days one promise holds
Please search me now and know my heart
Then show me how to do my part
To walk the way You’d have me go
And if I stray, Lord, I still know
I can ride the morning winds and You are there
I can sail the widest seas and You are there
I can find the darkest night and You are there
O lord, I can never be lost from You

Shepherd of My Soul

Shepherd of my soul I give you full control,
Wherever You may lead I will foll-ow.
I have made the choice to listen to your voice,
Wherever You may lead I will go.

Be it in a quiet pasture or by a gentle stream,
The Shepherd of my soul is by my side.
Should I face a mighty mountain or a valley dark and deep,
The Shepherd of my soul will be my guide.

Shepherd of my soul Oh You have made me whole,
Where’er I hear You call how my tea-ars flow.
How I feel your love how I want to se-rve
I gladly give my heart to You O – Lord.

Be it in the flowing river or in the quiet night,
The Shepherd of my soul is by my side.
Should I face the stormy weather or the dangers of this world.
The Shepherd of my soul will be my guide.

O Love That Will Not Let Me Go

O Love that wilt not let me go,
I rest my weary soul in thee;
I give thee back the life I owe,
That in thine ocean depths its flow
May richer, fuller be.
O light that foll’west all my way,
I yield my flick’ring torch to thee;
My heart restores its borrowed ray,
That in thy sunshine’s blaze its day
May brighter, fairer be.
O Joy that seekest me through pain,
I cannot close my heart to thee;
I trace the rainbow through the rain,
And feel the promise is not vain,
That morn shall tearless be.
O Cross that liftest up my head,
I dare not ask to fly from thee;
I lay in dust life’s glory dead,
And from the ground there blossoms red
Life that shall endless be.

Amazing Love

My Lord, what love is this that pays so dearly
That I the guilty one, may go free

Amazing love oh what sacrifice
The Son of God giv’n for me
My debt He pays and my death He dies
That I might live, that I might live

And so they watched Him die
Despised, rejected but
Oh the blood He shed flowed for me

And now this love of Christ
Shall flow like rivers
Come wash your guilt away, live again!

The Power of the Cross

Verse 1
Oh to see the dawn of the darkest day
Christ on the road to calvary
Tried by sinful men, torn and beaten then
Nailed to a cross of wood

Chorus 1
This the pow’r of the cross
Christ became sin for us
Took the blame, bore the wrath
We stand forgiven at the cross

Verse 2
Oh to see the pain written on Your face
Bearing the awesome weight of sin
Ev’ry bitter thought, ev’ry evil deed
Crowning Your bloodstained brow

Verse 3
Now the daylight flees, now the ground beneath
Quakes as its maker bows his head
Curtain torn in two, dead are raised to life
‘Finished!’ the vict’ry cry.

Verse 4
Oh to see my name written in the wound
For through Your suf‘fring I am free
Death is crushed to death, life is mine to live
Won through Your selfless love

Chorus 2
This the pow’r of the cross
Son of God slain for us
What a life, what a cost
We stand forgiven at the cross

Anchor Beyond the Veil

Verse 1:

My hope is not in this life,
Nor this passing world’s reward,
But my hope is in a life
that will nev - er fade;

My hope is in You, Jesus,
Risen King ascended Lord,
Even death it - self could not
Hold You in the grave

Chorus:

And Jesus You’ve gone before us
And Your faithfulness never fails
In the darkness You reassure us,
You’re our anchor beyond the veil

Verse 2:

And when the storm is raging
And I’m battered by the waves,
You’re my refuge and my strength
I shall not be moved;

And when the night surrounds me
And I cannot see my way,
You will guide me in Your
Right - eous - ness
And Your truth

(Repeat Chorus)

Verse 3:
And though we cannot
See You
We await that glo - rious hour
When this earthly veil
is finally stripped a - way;
And when we hear that trumpet
And You come with awesome pow’r,

We shall gaze upon
the radiance Of Your face

(Repeat Chorus twice)

Coda:

You’re our an - chor beyond
You’re our an - chor beyond
You’re our an - chor beyond
The veil

Take My Life

Take my life and let it be
consecrated to Thee.
Take my moments and my days,
let them flow in ceaseless praise.
Take my hands and let them move
at the impulse of Thy love.
Take my feet and let them be
swift and beautiful for Thee.

Take my voice and let me sing
always, only for my King.
Take my lips and let them be
filled with messages from Thee.
Take my silver and my gold
not a mite would I withhold.
Take my intellect and use
every power as You choose.

::Chorus::
Here am I, all of me.
Take my life, it's all for Thee.

Take my will and make it Thine
it shall be no longer mine.
Take my heart it is Thine own
it shall be Thy royal throne.
Take my love, my Lord I pour
at Your feet its treasure store
Take myself and I will be
ever, only, all for Thee.

Here am I, all of me.
Take my life, it's all for Thee.
x3

(Take my life, Lord take my life. Take all of me)

Here am I, all of me.
Take my life, it's all for Thee.

Make Me a Servant

Make me a servant, humble and meek

Lord, let me lift up, those who are weak.

And may the pray'r of my heart always be;

Make me a servant, make me a servant,

Make me a servant, today.

Above All

Above all powers above all kings
Above all kingdoms
Above all nature and all created things
Above all thrones
Above all wisdom and all the ways of man
Above all wonders
You were here before the world began
The world has ever known

Above all wealth
Above all kingdoms above all thrones
And treasures of the earth
Above all wonders the world has ever known
There's no way to measure
Above all wealth and treasures of the earth
What You're worth
There's no way to measure what You're worth

Verse 2
Crucified laid behind the stone
Above all powers
You lived to die rejected and alone
Above all kings
Like a Rose trampled on the ground
Above all nature
You took the fall and thought of me
And all created things
Above all
Above all wisdom

And all the ways of man
Above all powers above all kings
You were here
Above all nature and all created things
Before the world began
Above all wisdom and all the ways of man

You were here before the world began
CHORUS

Crucified
Above all kingdoms above all thrones
Laid behind the stone
Above all wonders the world has ever known
You lived to die
Above all wealth and treasures of the earth
Rejected and alone
There's no way to measure what You're worth
Like a rose

Trampled on the ground
Crucified laid behind the stone
You took the fall
You lived to die rejected and alone
And thought of me
Like a Rose trampled on the ground
Above all
You took the fall and thought of me

Above all
(Chorus)

(Chorus)
Crucified laid behind the stone

You lived to die rejected and alone
Like the rose
Like a Rose trampled on the ground
Trampled on the ground
You took the fall and thought of me
You took the fall
Above all
And thought of me

Above all
Like a Rose trampled on the ground

You took the fall and thought of me

Above all

Glory to You

What do I possess
That You did not give to me
What mysteries are clear to me
That You did not explain
When did I share Truth
I had not received from You
What good works have I performed
That you did not ordain

Chorus:
Any strength I have, any good I do
Comes from the life I found in You
So in all I am
And in all I do
I give the Glory to You

How do I express
My love and my gratitude
For all I am and ever will be
All depends on you
Where in the world would I be
Had you not reached out to me
All the good I have in life
Can all be traced to you

Chorus

From the strength to obey
Your word when I hear it
To reaching out in love
It's all a gift of the Holy Spirit,
Coming from above

Chorus

I give the glory to You

Grace Alone

Every promise we can make
Every prayer and step of faith
Every difference we can make
Is only by His grace.

Every mountain we will climb
Every ray of hope we shine
Every blessing left behind
Is only by His grace

Grace alone Which God supplies
Strength unknown He will provide
Christ in us, our cornerstone
We will go forth in grace alone.

Every soul we long to reach
Every heart we hope to teach
Everywhere we share His peace
Is only by His grace.

Every loving word we say
Every tear we wipe away
Every sorrow turned to praise
Is only by His grace.

Your Grace is Sufficient

Your grace is sufficient for me
Your strength is made perfect
When I am weak
All that I cling to
I lay at Your feet
Your grace is sufficient for me

I'm no longer striving
To merit Your love
I rest in Your promise to me
That all of my sins have
Been washed in Your blood
Your mercy is all that I need

You see me as righteous
Because of the blood
That made the atonement for me
Your mercy has triumphed
Where I should be judged
So now by Your grace I am free

Search Me, O God

Search me, oh God
Reveal my heart
Expose my sin that it may be confessed
Search me, oh God
Unveil each thought
And leave no hidden motive unaddressed
Uncover every action born in pride
Show me the worldly ways I still embrace
May every anxious thought be brought to light
And each unspoken fear with faith replaced

Search me, oh God
Observe my life
Bring to my mind each idle word I speak
Search me, oh God
Test my resolve
And alert me where you find it weak

Reveal all weakened walls within my soul
Show me potential dangers unforeseen
Then clothe my conscience with your holiness
Help me guard it well and keep it clean

Search me, oh God
That I may walk in peace
Filled with the joy of knowing all is well
My heart surrendered and my conscience clean
So great a joy my tongue can scarcely tell
Oh what a joy to know that all is well

Oh I want to know You more

Just the time I feel
that I've been caught
in the mire of self.
Just the time I feel
my mind's been bought
by worldly wealth.
That's when the breeze begins
to blow I know,
the Spirit's Call.
And all my worldly wanderings
just melt into His Love.

Oh, I want to know You more!
Deep within my soul I want to know You,
Oh, I want to know You.
To feel Your Heart and know Your Mind,
looking in Your eyes stirs up within me,
cries that says I want to know You
Oh, I want to know You more.
Oh, I want to know You more.

When my daily deeds
ordinarily lose life and song,
my heart begins to bleed,
sensitivity to Him is gone.
**I've run the race but set my own pace
and face a shattered soul,**
But [And] the Gentle Arms of Jesus
warm my hungering (omit 'ring') to be whole.

Oh, I want to know You more!
Deep within my soul I want to know You,
Oh, I want to know You.
And I would give my final breathe
to know You in Your Death and Ressurrection,
Oh, I want to know You more.
Oh, I want to know You more.
Oh, I want to know You more...

Enbrace the Cross

I am crucified with Christ
Therefore I no longer live
Jesus Christ now lives in me
(Repeat twice)

Embrace the cross
Where Jesus suffered
Though it will cost
All you claim as yours
Your sacrifice will seem small
Beside the treasure
Eternity can't measure
What Jesus holds in store

Embrace the love
The cross requires
Cling to the one
Whose heart knew every pain
Receive from Jesus
Fountains of compassion
Only He can fashion
Your heart to move as His

Oh, wondrous cross our desires rest in you
Lord Jesus make us bolder
To face with courage the shame and disgrace
You bore upon Your shoulder

Embrace the life
That comes from dying
Come trace the steps
The Savior walked for you
An empty tomb
Concludes Golgotha's sorrow
Endure then till tomorrow
Your cross of suffering
Embrace the cross
Embrace the cross
The cross of Jesus

Refiner's Fire

There burns a fire with sacred heat
White hot with holy flame
And all who dare pass through its blaze
Will not emerge the same
Some as bronze, and some as silver
Some as gold, then with great skill
All are hammered by their sufferings
On the anvil of His will

Chorus:
The Refiner's fire
Has now become my souls desire
Purged and cleansed and purified
That the Lord be glorified
He is consuming my soul
Refining me, making me whole
No matter what I may lose
I choose the Refiner's fire

I'm learning now to trust His touch
To crave the fire's embrace
For though my past with sin was etched
His mercies did erase
Each time His purging cleanses deeper
I'm not sure that I'll survive
Yet the strength in growing weaker
Keeps my hungry soul alive

Chorus

Much too High a Price

Your love endured the cross
Despising all the shame
That afternoon when midnight fell
Your suffering cleared my name
And that sin-swept hill became
The open door to paradise
The cost was great yet you paid the price

You paid much too high a price for me
In tears and blood and pain
To have my soul just stirred at times
Yet never truly change
You deserve a fiery love
That won't ignore your sacrifice
Because you paid much too high a price

You grace inspires my heart
To rise above the sin
Of all the earthly vanity
That seeks to draw me in
Then to tell a jaded world of love
That truly saved a life
A love that paid
Much too high a price

Repeat Chorus

Were it not for Grace

Time measured out my days
Life carried me along
In my soul I yearned to follow God
But knew I’d never be so strong
I looked hard at this world
To learn how heaven could be gained
Just to end where I began
Where human effort is all in vain
Chorus
Were it not for grace
I can tell you where I’d be
Wandering down some pointless road to nowhere
With my salvation up to me
I know how that would go
The battles I would face
Forever running but losing this race
Were it not for grace
So here is all my praise
Expressed with all my heart
Offered to the Friend who took my place
And ran a course I could not start
And when He saw in full
Just how much His would cost
He still went the final mile between me and heaven
So I would not be lost
Repeat Chorus
Forever running but losing this race
Were it not for grace

His Strength is Perfect

I can do all things
Through Christ who gives me strength,
But sometimes I wonder what He can do through me;
No great success to show, No glory on my own,
Yet in my weakness He is there to let me know . . .

CHORUS
His strength is perfect when our strength is gone;
He’ll carry us when we can’t carry on.
Raised in His power, the weak become strong;
His strength is perfect, His strength is perfect.

We can only know
The power that He holds
When we truly see how deep our weakness goes;
His strength in us begins
Where ours comes to an end.
He hears our humble cry and proves again . . .

(chorus)
